Flag, Tackle, and Cheer Registration now Open!

Hello WHYFL Families!

I am happy to announce that registration for the upcoming West Hartford Youth Football flag, tackle, and cheerleading season is now open at

We look forward to welcoming both new and returning families for what is shaping up to be a busy season filled with several improvements, including continuation of our expanded NFL flag football, focus to promote player safety, and expansion of our joint inter-league schedule to include both the Farmington, Southington, and Granby Youth Football Leagues.

Feel free to pass this note along to any additional families who might like to participate in the upcoming NFL flag, tackle and cheer season.

This season more than any is poised to bring you and your player the best Youth Football & Cheer experience in the area.  As we get closer to the summer, please keep a lookout for WHYFL emails that will provide you with critical information as we build up to opening day.

In the meantime, we welcome you to register for the upcoming NFL flag, tackle, and cheer season. Take advantage of our early bird discount and sibling discount for those families registering more than one player.

Registration will be limited to the first 80 players per division for flag players for flag, 400 for tackle, and 75 for cheer. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis, so be sure to register early.

Thanks again for being a part of the WHYFL family!  We look forward to seeing you all at Sterling Field soon.

Bruce Bourgoin, President
